Melissa believes that style is like art – it’s all in the eye of the beholder. She doesn’t follow trends and tells her clients to only have things that make them happy in their homes. She thrives on the challenge to create spaces that her clients never thought possible – taking drab rooms and injecting them with style in a way that works for them. Her goal is to create a home that is livable and comfortable, yet uniquely stylish and one of a kind. She mixes old and new to create a unique expression of who her clients are and what they love.

A graduate of the University of Tulsa, Melissa started out in sales and marketing before realizing that this wasn’t her long term ideal. As a child and teenager, she would spend hours re-arranging and re-painting her room and helping her friends design theirs. Family vacations meant touring museums, historical points of interest and photographing architecture. What she’s always naturally loved is interior design. So she went back for a second degree in Interior Design & Architecture from UC Berkeley and joined Amoroso Design in 2006 as an Associate Designer. A lifelong career was launched!

Melissa oversees and manages design projects from start to finish. She makes sure that clients enjoy the entire process - even while in the midst of construction chaos. Her best compliments come from clients who say they never want to leave their newly transformed homes.
